Hydradermie, formally known as Cathiodermie, is the result of intensive research into consumer demands. The Legendary Deep Cleansing Facial

The Hydradermie treatment is the most effective deep cleansing treatment for the face. The treatment is offered in five versions, tailored to the needs of your skin and your beauty aims whether your skin is dry/dehydrated, oily, sensitive, pigmented or mature.

In a little more than one hour, your skin looks brand new, your face appears rested and you feel good about yourself.

The treatment begins with an analysis of the client’s skin so the Guinot skincare expert can customise the products used in the facial to treat normal/dry, sensitive, oily, mature or hyperpigmented skin. After cleansing and exfoliating, the beauty therapist applies the carefully selected gels to the face. The next phase of the treatment involves state of the art equipment-the Hydraderm Machine which uses:

Ionization

Mild electrotherapy (galvanic current) and the gentle precise massaging movements using rollers carries the plant-based active ingredients deep into the skin. This deep cleanses and removes impurities and toxins- thus revealing its inner beauty.

Oxygenation

Next, high frequency action is used to oxygenate and energise the cells. High frequency also has an antibacterial effect on the skin. After this, the skin is fully loaded with oxygen, resulting in an improvement in the skin’s hydration and fine lines.

The Lifting Massage

A customised mask is smoothed on the face followed by a relaxing massage which “lifts” the skin, leaving the complexion balanced, healthy and glowing. A touch of moisturser for the eyes, face and neck concludes the treatment.

A deluxe three-in-one facial treatment designed to revitalise mature skin and diminish signs of ageing. This “star of all facials” incorporates the classic Hydradermie facial as well as other specific treatments which focus intensively on the eye area, neck and décolleté, using specialised firming and toning serums. Included is a pressure point eye massage and the luxurious serenity massage (unique to Guinot) using relaxing essential oils, leaving the skin feeling revitalised and relaxed.

A clean, clear complexion - just for men. This high-tech facial deep cleanses, oxygenates and conditions the skin using electrotherapy, bespoke active gels and Guinot Tres Homme products - developed especially for the different physiology of men’s skin which tends to suffer from blackheads and ingrown hairs. The circulation is stimulated and dull, flaky skin sloughed away. We request that clients shave 4 hours prior to treatment.

This anti-ageing and firming treatment for the bust and décolleté revitalises and rehydrates the connective support tissues of the breasts, resulting in smoother skin with a firmer and more lifted youthful appearance to the breast contour.

Like the Back Hydradermie, this treatment combines machine-based and manual massage to encourage deep penetration of the Guinot plant-based products, ensuring maximum effectiveness.

This deep cleansing, rehydrating and rebalancing treatment for the back ensures this hard-to-reach area is kept in optimum condition. Your skin is cleansed and toned and specific gels applied. Probes are then used to “push” the product into your skin before the relaxing High Frequency is applied which cleanses the skin using its anti bacterial action. A massage and mask finish the back treatment. You will see an immediate result as the skin's texture is greatly improved, imperfections cleared and muscle tension eased away.

• Hydradermie: wait 6 hours before applying makeup. No heat treatments 12 hours before or after facial.
• Beaute Neuve: wait 6 hours before applying makeup. No heat treatments until 48 hours after facial.
• Hydradermie Lift: for best results, do not apply makeup until 3 hours after treatment. No heat treatments 6 hours before or until 12 hours after.
• Liftosome: makeup can be applied straight away. No heat treatments until 12 hours after facial.
• Pregnant Clients can have Hydradermie & Hydradermie Plus Treatments, but not Hydradermie Lift Treatments.
• Clients having Botox, Collagen etc should not have Guinot Treatments until given approval from their Practitioner (normally between 2 - 4 weeks after treatment).
