Eyelash tinting is a safe and quick treatment to enhance the general appearance of the eyes by creating more definition to the lashes, making them appear longer and thicker. It will change the appearance of your facial features making your eyes more noticeable. Blue eyes appear bluer, green eyes appear brighter, and brown eyes appear deeper.

A range of colours and shades are available to cater for all skin types and colour. It is great for people with very light coloured eyelashes who want to ensure that they have definition at all times. The treatment is also popular for those who have changed their natural hair colour and want their eyelashes to match and blend in. There are different colours to choose from and the effect lasts for up to 6 weeks.

It is particularly beneficial for people who participate in sporting activities, especially swimming. Unlike mascara the effect is very natural - so no more panda eyes! Also great before holidays, weddings and other special occasions.

The procedure uses a semi permanent vegetable dye to tint the lashes. Your therapist will advise on which colour to use for the best results.

Please note that we are unable to make your eye lashes lighter than their natural colour.

A patch test is required at least 24 hours prior to tinting to ensure no sensitivity to the product exists. If you wear contact lenses please bring soaking solution to the salon with you as contact lenses must not be worn during the treatment. Wear little or no make-up for your treatment.

The Benefits

Eyelash perming can dramatically open and enlarge the look of the eyes without the use of eyelash curlers by making the lashes appear longer and fuller, even before mascara. It offers a younger looking appearance particularly for those whose eyelids are beginning to droop. Even short, straight, sparse lashes can benefit from this safe treatment. The lashes remain curled all day and night, everyday, in and out of water.

During the eyelash perm, you will lay back, keeping your eyes closed- a comfortable and relaxing treatment.

How is it done?

Small "rollers" are gently placed on the eyelids, close to the lash line. Individual eyelashes are then separated and gently curled over the roller and a permanent gel is applied. After 15 minutes the gel is removed and a neutralizer is applied.

How long does it last?

Eyelash perming takes approximately one hour to do and the effects last between 2 to 3 months, depending on the individual. The perm generally lasts as long as the eyelashes are there, and a typical cycle for eyelashes is about three months.

Treatment Information

If you wear contact lenses bring soaking solution to the salon with you to the salon as contact lenses must not be worn during the treatment.

Wear little or no make-up for your treatment.
